BDL is a student-run organization at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. Our goal is to offer opportunities to students to learn more about human-centred design thinking principles and the value this mindset has in the business world.
What is business design? It is the future of innovative business practices, by using a human-centred, design thinking approach to innovate everything from products and services to new strategies and business models. It is no longer sufficient to know what customers want, we must now understand why customers want what they do, and that only comes from a deep understanding of the user.
